This morning was overcast, gray, and snowy. The weather made me want to snuggle in and stay at home today; but I was registered for a yoga tech session, so I had to bundle up and face the elements. *sigh*
When I arrived at the yoga studio, the room was warm and smelled faintly of incense. The physical class space is open and uncluttered, so to me it feels spacious and freeing; but the warmth and scent also makes the room feel cozy and homey. As I placed my mat on the wood floor and got settled in, I noticed that the sun had come out. Natural, bright light was now streaming in through the large warehouse windows, landing on a vibrant green plant at the front of the room:
Yin and yang, to be sure.

Nice. Very nice.
So there is still a sun up there somewhere in the sky?

The sun is always up there; some days the clouds just like to keep it to themselves for a while. (It keeps the sun in line, you know; just when the sun thinks, “Oh, *I* am the most powerful!”, the clouds get to gently step in and say, “Oh, sweetie, there’s balance to everything; let us remind you….”) 🙂
