Today I loaded the dishwasher, and I had the absolutely perfect quantity and types of items to fill the machine exquisitely. Not one dish was leftover in the sink, yet not one inch of room was spared in the machine.
It really was a beautiful thing to behold.

Love it! It’s so irritating to load it and have 2 dishes left in the sink!

Absolutely. And I’m not opposed to washing large dishes by hand (i.e., big pots and pans); but to have a single cup or two small plates not fit into an otherwise full machine is irritating. So days like this – when the perfect fit occurs – are delightful! π

I am very grateful to have a dishwasher. And I love that ours is very quiet, and works consistently well. Hands work too, I know; but I like the machine version better. π
Do you cook and do the dishes for your family? If so, wow! Color me impressed.

I am lucky to have my parents visiting this week. I cook and they wash the dishes for me! I have a dishwasher, but it is even better when I get to skip that step! That is the best: an extra set of hands to help out and then some quality family time when the work is done! π

Tara, it is great to have another set of hands (or two!) around to help; and when they do dishes, all the better. And when you like them, even better still! π

Some times, it really is the “little” things that can bring such delight. Simple pleasures… π
