Stomping on my heart – in a good way

I am fortunate to walk past several live arts theaters on my way in to work each day.  This morning, as I approached one of them, I saw this announcement on the marquee:

(It says "Riverdance, March 18-20, 5 shows only")

I have a running joke with my dad about Riverdance; basically, that Michael Flatley is “okay”, but that my dad could be a much better “Lord of the Dance” – if he wanted to.  He just doesn’t want to, is all….

So this morning, as I read the unexpected message on the marquee, I thought of my dad, our joke, and all the humor and love that we share.

And every time I think of him, I feel both joy and peace; and I smile.

  1. Yeah, I could dance better than Michael too..if I wanted to.
Nice story-made me laugh on the train again. 🙂

Great minds once again — watch out for my March 17th posts on both Touch2Touch and View from the Woods — will probably elicit more smiles —- 😀
