Good mojo

I was super lucky to receive lots and lots of positive energy interspersed in my day today:

  • This morning several work peers gave me public recognition in our weekly staff meeting; they shared their pleasure about how I explain semi-difficult-to-understand information in a helpful, “non-threatening” manner.
  • Over the course of the day I had two different meetings with colleagues where I got to help them develop initial ideas into deeper, potentially more impactful items.
  • I spent the lunch hour with two good friends (around whom I always feel 1000% comfortable being completely open, honest, and fully “me”); and during our 60 minutes together I laughed out loud multiple times.
  • Towards the end of the day I passed by an acquaintance in the hallway, and she stopped me mid-stride to rave about a work product I released two weeks ago.  She said she has used the item more than she thought she would when she first saw it, and that other people she shares it with honestly love it.  She ended our brief conversation by stating, “I hope you know that you really have made a positive difference in other people’s work experiences.”

Wow!  I feel amazing spirit and gusto all around me today; it’s incredible!
