Three quick hits of joy

One: This morning, I received a brief-yet-touching comment from my Dad about yesterday’s post.  No matter how old I get, or how much of an “adult” I become, I will always be my parents’ child – and their love, support, and respect will always mean the world to me.

Two: This afternoon, we ran out of plastic bags.  I went to the basement to get another box, and when I did, I smiled when I saw the product packaging:

(I love how the bag is smiling at me!)

Three: Driving home from yoga, I found myself on the freeway behind this truck – and I was delighted by the thought that everyone should be friendly on the road:

(The license plate reads, "AMIGO")

I adore these little (and not-so-little) smatterings of joy throughout my day; they help keep my heart light, buoyant, and open.
