On my walk this evening, I saw three pretty cool sights:
- Five boys, all between 5-8 years old, riding their bikes over a very small ramp – and with every successful crossing, acting like they had just performed a feat on par with Evel Knievel.
- A mom-and-dad duo, taking half of the neighborhood for a walk (i.e., eight children between the ages of two and ten, and three very large dogs).
- An elderly gentleman, at least 70 years old, sitting in his front yard, flying a small radio-controlled helicopter – and smiling as though he were a young boy.
Just another beautiful day in the neighborhood. 🙂

Not everyone has the ability to spot the beauty when they walk. Too busy, maybe, rushing to get it done. Enjoy the ride, so to speak. 🙂

Thanks Gemma! While I’m certainly not exempt from rushing around here and there, I do attempt to pause as often as I can remember; and I do try to really appreciate the evening stroll. Here’s to recognizing whatever wonders are available to be seen! 🙂

You can feel Spring is in the air! I love the longer days in the evening so you can enjoy the outdoors and all they have to offer.

You are most welcome! (I suspect you may not have meant to comment twice on the same post, but I’m greedy so I’m takin’ ’em both.) 😉 I appreciate your kind words – thank you, too!

You’re right – I didn’t. Everything froze halfway through, so I thought the first comment had not posted. Technology, huh? 🙂

Technology is great until it doesn’t function properly – but in this situation, the error worked in my favor! 🙂
