Hi Stef. I like the style of your About page, with the picture in the background. I heard that it’s also a good idea to add a photograph of yourself to your blog. I was very sceptical when I first heard this because I wanted to remain anonymous, but I now think it’s good idea.

Oye, thanks for stopping to read and to comment; I really appreciate it! I have also heard that personal photos are a good idea; but at this point in time, I’m choosing to omit images of people I know (myself included). I want to respect their anonymity, and protect mine a little bit. 🙂 But thanks for the feedback; I really do appreciate it.

Hi Stef, I am Grandpa – not your grandpa, just Grandpa. I too was a corporate trainer for many years and I can honestly say I learned more and had more great experiences through that part of my career than at any other time. Another thing that experience has done is to help me with my writing ability as one gets a lot of practice as a training specialist. It looks as though it has contributed to your writing as well. At any rate – good to see a common career factor with you.

Hi Grandpa, thank you for stopping by, for digging in, and for commenting! It’s lovely to meet you. What industry did you train in/for? Developing training and curriculum has most definitely improved my writing skills, among other ones (confidence in front of strangers, public speaking, ability to think more quickly on my feet…) – I consider myself ridiculously to have such an amazing career. Are you now a retired Grandpa, or have you moved on to another industry/profession? I’ll need to check out your blog. 🙂

I was a Personnel Manager with about 75% of my responsibility to training in the service and in a Municipal Government. You might say I am a retired grandpa but a very active one, probably more active than when I worked. Currently among my many undertakings has been private consulting and curriculm design. Yes, I would like you to check out my blog and I would be interested in any improvement feedback you may have.

Thank you for stopping by and commenting on my pics. I appreciate it, it makes me feel that they can be interesting to someone. Thanks for being that someone!

Also, and very important, for taking the time. It is so hard for me to set aside some time for some tasks.. so many things to do and not that much of it ! So this is a 2nd thank you for making some time. 🙂

Also, (gratitude comes in sets of three..) thank you too, for not just looking at one post but several. You are my hero! I will work harder to keep you hooked looking at my pictures. I hope you will like them!

Cedric, you are most welcome. I think blogging is very enjoyable in its own right; but I do think it’s even more ‘fun’ when other people read and interact with the space. 🙂 I’m happy to be part of that crowd for you! You are very talented in your photography; it’s a pleasure for me to take the time to look at your works, and offer an encouraging word.

Thank *you* for sharing kind words with me; I genuinely appreciate it. Cheers to you, too! 🙂

    • Stef says:

I don’t. 😦 I moved to a gratitude-style blog for over a year (threedailydelights.wordpress.com); but last spring I discovered I was pregnant, and everything took a backseat to that. I hope to get back into blogging once my baby is older; I actually hope to co-author a blog with him once he can articulate some of his ideas and begin to read and type. But that’s a few years off yet…
