A few blogs that I follow do a “Wordless Wednesday” post each week. These authors post an image (ideally one they have taken themselves) – but nothing more.
As I have been sitting in front of a computer, staring at a glowing monitor for the better part of nine hours today, I am feeling a little ‘wordless’ this evening. And since today is Wednesday…
Here is my first ever “Wordless Wednesday” post. Except, I used a few words. ‘Cause I wanted to give this brief explanation/introduction. But now I’m done (mostly) with the words. On with the image. Here we go. Starting……. now.

(Some fun chalk art that I stumbled on this afternoon in the middle of the local park’s walking path. A lovely visual surprise – and perfect for today’s post.)

Like your chalk art today and the polka dot socks from your workday at home!
Snazzy socks cheer me. I am frequently wordless but doesn’t have to be on a Wednesday.
Thinking about my 59 power sentences! YIKES.

Ruth, it’s funny how a cheap pair of socks can make all the difference in my day. Simple delights – I love ’em.
As for your power sentences…I have faith in you! 🙂

I took a picture with a “wordless wendnesday” in mind but never seem to remember when Wednesday is. Since it’s Wednesday today and I’ve still got a few hours left I’ll dig it out and post it. 🙂

Love the idea of Wordless Wednesday. Wednesdays are always a rush and I usually only get my blog written at around 11pm. So I might try this for the next few weeks.
BTW I found you through Hallysann at Photographic Memories. 🙂

Judith, I’d love to hear what you think of the Wordless Wednesday option after you’ve tried it for a week or two. Thank you for stopping by *and* for commenting! And thanks to Hallysann for the referral! 😉
