Pressing deadlines

Sometimes it takes just two seconds (and being present and open) to elevate a day from “ordinary” to “fun!”.  I was bustling about the office today, trying to complete many tasks – and feeling like I just didn’t have quite enough time to get to them all.  As I went to the office of one of my colleagues to complete a task, I saw a small square comic on her desk.  My mind said, “You don’t really have time to read that – keep moving!”; but my heart said, “Oh come on…It will only take a few seconds…good grief, lighten up! Get over yourself…”  So I did – and I was glad that I did.  The few seconds I spent at my colleague’s desk made a noticeable positive difference in my day.

Yay laughter!

Fantastic! I can just picture you sitting in a train (you said you read this on the train, right?) laughing and smiling and giving off positive vibes to everyone around. And enjoying yourself in the process. Wonderful! 🙂
