The downside: I had to go shopping. (Yes, I “had” to. Truly, no choice in the matter.)
The upside: I found everything I needed in one store. Yay!
The downside: I was in that one store for two hours, trying on garment, after garment, after garment….
The upside: I found many different items that worked!
The downside: I spent a lot of cash.
The upside: The store had a promotion for one day only: 40% off everything. Full price items, sale items, clearance items – everything. I saved a lot of cash.
The downside: I had to squeeze in many, many items into my already-crowded closet. (3 sweaters, 3 dresses, 3 skirts, 3 pairs of pants, 2 suit coats, and 1 suit.)
The upside: I now get to donate many items to charity! (5 suit coats, 4 pairs of pants,
2 skirts, 2 sweaters, and 1 dress.)
The downside: I still feel weighed down and overwhelmed whenever I have to go shopping. (Have to.)
The upside: At least the universe provides me a laugh or two while I’m doing it.

You are very blessed :). I haven’t shopped for clothes in months :). Most of my income is for university. I’m sure I’ll make up for that when I graduate ^_^ hahah…

Yes, I am very blessed – though I’d happily (and contentedly) spend money on education over clothing any day. 🙂

I am not a shopping fan either. It’s overwhelming, to say the least! Funny, I was at the mall this week for the first time in months and months and months. I “had to” as well. Eventually your favorite bras fall apart and you need new ones. I was beyond that point. Like you, I had about a million bras in the dressing room- and that can be hard to do unless I find what I need in the teen bra area – which happily I did this time – so I went home with some new bras (both cute “teen” ones and a few more staid “adult ones” and I can pitch my old tired bras now. Yay!
Funny, I decided against writing about bras in my blog posts, but somehow writing about them in the comments seems fine 😉

I think it’s wonderful to write about bras – even if it is in a comment versus a post. 🙂 Here’s a fun fact: My first “real” (career-based) job out of college was working in the buying office for a retailer, in the intimate apparel department. It’s true. I learned *all* about bras and panties in those two years… fun times. 😉

Funny – I worked in a little bra shop the summer after my freshman year in college – it was before Victoria’ Secret existed- I learned a lot about bras and fitting bras for all shapes, sizes and ages that summer!

Cute! I like how you’ve classified as upside and downside 🙂 I am glad you found everything in one store! Hooray!
