This winter, I (and my fellow citizens) have been the lucky recipient(s) of mild weather (relatively speaking). Days of single-digit temperatures have been sporadic versus standard, and snow accumulation to-date can be measured in inches instead of feet. I have been very pleasantly surprised by Mother Nature’s gentle approach to this season.
However, recently the skies have been more grey than blue. While they aren’t producing a lot of precipitation (a plus in my book), they haven’t been exactly chipper. As a very visually-influenced person, I’ve had to make a conscious effort to maintain a positive attitude during these stretches of overcast, dour days.
But today I caught a break, and saw an image outside that brought a grin to my face and a smile to my heart:
I don’t know what classical tune this is, but it looks light and bouncy and fun. It definitely adds bright, joyful energy to an otherwise dreary day. Yay!

What a great idea! That would sure lift my spirits too, Stef —
